Female unable to orgasm

I have severe PTSD. Is there any hope?

Why did you post this in the sexual dysfunction forum? Anyway, of course there is hope for you, but I want you to go to your doctor to 'get the ball rolling'. You will probably require therapy to overcome this, if it's severe.

Chucky, PTSD can have sexual repercussions, too. Her subject line said that she's a female who can't orgasm and she seems to think it is because of PTSD. Question is, what caused the PTSD -- probably abuse, maybe sexual? Dunno. She doesn't say.

But as you responded, sure there's hope if you work at it. Dealing with the trauma would probably be the first step. Determining if it really is related to PTSD is also in order. It could be technique or a lack of education about female sexual response. We can't know without more information.
