I have experienced an unusual sexual trigger which I am confused about. I don't what to do about it or where to get help.

Perhaps you'd like to tell us a little about it?

When I was very young I had a lot of operations in hospital. In those day the only way they could put you to sleep was to give you Gas anaesthetic through a black rubber mask.
Bizarrely, although I didn't like the Gas, I have now found that thinking about it triggers an arousing response. I don't understand this but it happens frequently.

Perhaps something to do with your mental state as you slipped into anesthesia?
We can't let any discussions here wander into frank discussion of Fetish as a main subject- so at any point, I might be obliged to end this conversation. But why do you feel as if it's something to have to 'do something about'? I'm presuming there was something about the mental state of slipping under, unless the surgeries were intimate in nature, as an explanation for this. It seems... an interesting trigger, but fairly innocuous to me. As long as there's no harm to anyone, that is.

It has nothing to do with fetish. There is no harm to anyone including myself.

So just thinking about the act of being put under seems to stimulate you, then?
Do you worry it's going to interfere with a relationship? Or does it disturb you simply because it's not 'normal'?
