Sexual dysfunctions and Prozac

Postby willy31 » Sat Aug 04, 2018 5:18 am

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I need your help.

I'm a man, I'm 26 years old.

I have been suffering from sexual dysfunction for several years (I would say since 2009-2010). I took for many years and in high doses drugs that are known to induce this kind of problem (Prozac, Risperidone).

Although it has been four years since I stopped all these drugs, the problems persisted.

Here is everything I took:
-Prozac 40mg (2006 to 2014)
-Risperidone 1.75mg (1999 to 2014)
-Concerta 90mg (1999 to 2014)
-Minocycline 50mg (2012 to 2013)
-Finasteride 0.25mg (2014 to 2016)
-Minoxidil 5% (2014 to 2017)

Here are all my symptoms:
-Decreased libido
-Difficult to initiate and maintain an erection (I only have semi-erections, never more than that)
-Orgasm shuttlecock
-Reduction of pleasure during orgasm
-Lower penis sensitivity
-Loss of response to sexual stimulation
-Reduction of ejaculated semen volume

Also:
-I was circumcised in 2010. I was also removed a fibrous ring during the same operation.
-I have a skin disease on the penis (Psoriasis or Eczema).

Here's everything I've tried so far:
-Best habits of life (better diet, physical exercise, yoga, better social life, I stopped watching pornographic films)
-Cialis 20mg
-Viagra 100mg

None of this helped me.

What is the solution(s) that could help me? As you can see, there are several angles to attack. Even if the Cialis would have been effective, it would attack only one angle, the problems of erection. Moreover, it would have been temporary and would have cost me dearly.

I'm going to see an urologist this fall (possibly in November). I would like to try as many things as I can before seeing him and knowing what to offer him.

Also, I intend to go see a private urologist shortly to speed things up. It's expensive and I want to make sure I make the right choice.

I read that since it is the drugs that induced me these problems, "Antidepressants increase the release of serotonin by inhibiting the reuptake of this neurotransmitter. The sexual dysfunction related to SSRIs would be due to the activation of certain receptors serotonin, particularly the 5HT2A and 5HT2C receptors, which would decrease the release of dopamine and cause Parkinsonian disorders and an increase in prolactin. "

I am tempted to try shock wave therapy, PRP, or others, but it seems that it is for those with vascular problems, which does not seem to apply to me.

Can someone advise me? I am ready to put the package to solve my problems.

And finaly, Since my testosterone is low, my family doctor prescribed Androgel 1% at 2.5g / d. However, there are some notorious side effects that scare me: hair loss, weight gain, prostate problems, etc.

Because of Prozac and other medications I was taking, I was overweight for many years (I regained my normal weight 6 months after weaning, but I have facial skin that has lost its elasticity) , I have a big alopecia (still in progress even after more than 4 years of weaning), etc.

I do not want to risk having these side effects again, especially since this treatment to go up my testo will be p-ê long term.

I appeal to your help to find an alternative to Androgel, even if it is not reimbursed by the security. On the one hand, I take care of having healthy habits at all levels. But I also want something that will boost my testosterone. Preferably a natural product. I know there are herbs, things that are not over-the-counter.

Reassign my testo is the first step of my fight and I want the best "booster" possible without the side effects.

If you have suggestions, do not hesitate.

Thank you!

Hello and welcome!

Just a modly interjection. For anyone recommending a product. We're quite free to say what works for us as individuals, but a reminder against blanket wholesale endorsements without medical supervision even for ' natural' products. Eg., valerian is natural, but it still makes my heart pound like crazy when I tried using it as a natural sleep aid.

Just a reminder to preface responses with this is what works for me YMMV, to keep from bumping up against the rules...

Do you think about this natural products?:
-Suma root
-Pollen pine
-Puncture vine/Tribulus terrestris
-Tongkat ali
-Shilajit

Also, I'm very affraid by penile atrophie. I have not had spontaneous erections for years, I do not erection during the night, I do not have a morning erection. By not spontaneously erection, the penis atrophies. I noticed that it is much smaller than before and I read that it could be irreversible ... Do you think about that?

First step: increase my testo naturally avoiding to accentuate my hair loss.

I drop Androl and I started AlphaTest (MuscleTech / ProSeries) 2 days ago. It's a package of 120 capsules that a friend brought me. Take 4 capsules a day. I just take 2 to come to date.It can also induce hairloss. And it is surely less effective than Androgel. So, I'm always looking for something even better.

Here is the list of potential products:
-Tonkat ali-Tribulus
-Tribulus terrestris
-Pollen pine
-L-arginine
-L-citruline
-Shilajit-Suma
-Suma root
-Others?

I have seen several natural products for them also induce alopecia. Is it because some people take high dosage?

So, what I would like is someone who help me about dosage, safe sellers, best natural product for me, combinations to avoid. etc.

Also, I want to try penis pump. I know it's impossible to have a big penis if I not the genetic for that. I want to try that because I never have spontaneous erection. I I use that, I will help my penis to have good blood circulation and wish to stop the penile atrophy (and maybe recover my real size if my atrophy is not irreversible).

I really need help to find the best pump, most security, type of pump the better adapted for me. safe sellers, etc.

Today, I checked penis pump at erotic stores.

I saw...

Penis pump to water:
-Batmate Hercule 150$ CAD (approximately 115$ US)
-Bathmate X30 220$ CAD (167$ US)
-Bathmate X40 275$ CAD (210$ US)

Manual penis pump to air:
-Worx Pipedream pump 50$ CAD (38$ US)
-Doc Johnson Big daddy pump 160$ (121$ US)

Accessories:
-C-Ringz (3 rings of differents size) 16$ CAD (12$ US)
-Sex clean (to clean the pump and silicone) 13$ CAD

Rules:
• It is advisable to check that the pump has been tested and approved for use by health authorities in the country where you buy it: for example, the FDA in the United States.
• The pump you purchase must have a safety valve to prevent a device applying too much pressure on the base of your penis to cause injury.
• The materials of your pump must be of high quality, especially those of the silicone rings. The silicone should be soft and the torus as thick as possible to avoid getting into the flesh and cause injury.
• The pump must be delivered with a guarantee and a money-back guarantee.
• Before buying, check with your health insurance provider to see if the product is covered.

I have many questions:
-What the real difference between Bathmate X30 and Bathmate X40? Size? Performance? Quality of materials?
-Do you see a good choice?
-The seller say to me that the penis pump can be refunded just if there is a natural breakage and not if i'm not satisfied. Do you think I will able to have a refund if i'm not satified if I buy by internet?
-Do you have others suggestions for manual penis pump to air / penis pump to water for me?
-Which pump are the better for my problems? To air or to water?
-What the best: buy by internet or buy by erotic store?

Thank you!

I'm willing to bet that any genital appliance isn't going to be refunded unless it's broke.... I mean, much to my consternation (because I don't want strangers touching My Toys!), I've been to sex shops where they'll remove every battery operated thing from the package and test it when you buy it to show Hey This Works (do not even think about bringing it back). So....... yeah. Anything that touches an intimate part of the body, I seriously doubt your average vendor will accept returns if not happy, unless its someone that specialises only in appliances for ED and offers that as an incentive to purchase from them.

Thank you for reply Snaga,

So, pump to air or pump to water?

If it's water pump, i will buy Bathmate.
If it's air pump, what brand you suggest me?

[quote="willy31"]Hello everyone,

I am sorry, I cannot help with your problems, but I am wondering if you can help me, as I think my anorgasmia is a lot due to circulation problems. Why are the above treatments particularly pertinent to someone with vascular disease?
Thank you, and I wish you all the best

You should look up PSSD / Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction. Prozac caused me that over 20 years ago. There are some new treatments that are supposedly able to finally repair the damages done by Prozac and other SSRIs. I am looking forward to one day getting treatment done for my PSSD, as it completely ruined my brain by introducing dozens of other psychiatric drugs into the mix and never allowing me to have any type of normal relationship since SSRIs also blunt emotions such as love and empathy.
