help!!!

1st id like to say that i am 25 and i have been addicted to sex and porn for awhile now when i was younger i used to masturbate multiply times a day and kept doing it up until about 21 then i met this women and married her but my problem never got better i catch myself looking at porn and masturbating ... recently porn just wasent doing anything for me so i turned to other people and cheated on my wife she now knows and we both came to the agreement that i need help and well 1st step to getting help is to admit that i have a problem and want help with it i have had sexual thoughts about other people and catch myself day dreaming even though my wife can be sitting right there in front of my eyes and im so attracted to my wife i still do this can anyone help me out and just show me where i need to go ... i have checked out different saa sites and all of them say things like god and higher power and well im not one who believe in all that

So, first off, have you looked into talking to a counselor about your struggles? I definitely think that's so key in working through something like this. And even a support group or accountability partner can help you avoid temptations in this area. Lastly, as far as some helps right now, you might want to check out some articles on this topic on a website called Pure Intimacy. I've also heard good things about a book called Winning the Battle Within by Neal T. Anderson. So, might be worth looking into online or at the library? Just some thoughts to consider-hope they help!

i will be looking that up thank u ... i have notice that even when my wife and i are on dates i catch myself thinking about say the waitress and the things i would do to her i wish i could look at my wife and feel the same way the lust but also the love
