Reasons why a father would molest his daughter

I will never, ever understand how a man could want to be sexually intimate with his own child. Even just the thought of that disgusts me. Actually, I won't even conjure the thought. Why would you do such a thing?

In my father's case, he was a very unusual person anyway. He was aggressively timid, often sitting at the very corner of his seat at the very corner of the table. He liked being alone and to himself, and even though he lived with his wife, mother, and two kids he seemed like the loneliest man alive. I don't know if he was abused, but I think he did it because he finally felt control over something. The only other time he seemed truly confident was when he had his music blaring in his ears.

As for the whole victim to abuser relationship, I will never tolerate it. The "feelsies" of the abuser should never take precedence over the abused, especially when it has the possibility of continuing the cycle. I think it's beyond disgusting.
