Worst separation anxiety ever

Postby NavyBrat88 » Mon Feb 09, 2009 6:49 am

I have the worst separation anxiety ever.

Well now my SO of over 2 years decides we need to take a break until I am stable and healthy again. And wants no communication with me. I've been calling emailing and texting him because I cant help it. but i am freaking out here!

I will see him this weekend when he brings all my stuff to my parents house, but this is so hard for me.

((((((((((((merkelsgirl)))))))))))) Maybe a break will do you both some good. How is the bipolar now? Are you down? You are going to be ok, you can count on yourself and talk about it here.
Maybe it would help if you had something that calms you down or makes you feel good with you all the time. Try to make everything around you pretty and uplifting. Find something that you like to do, to get your mind of your problems.

Hey! I'm glad to hear that the meds are working. This break might also give him a chance to miss you  You should take the time to think about yourself for a while. Did you have a calm, honest talk with him about how all this is making you feel?

no because he won't talk to me at all. All communication has been broken. And my dad gave him the ok to do that which makes it even worse.

What do you mean your dad gave him the ok to do that? Why is he getting involved in your relationship? If you're used to depending on your parents a lot, it could have to do with why you might feel like you depend on your boyfriend.
If he didn't even stick around long enough to hear what your feelings are about this whole situation, you don't need that crap. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. Just focuse on feeling stronger and happier.

Well I talked to him tonight. He asked me to give him a couple more days to think about some stuff, which i can do but it will be hard.
He had asked my dad if he should stop all communication and my dad said yes. I never asked for him to get involved. my SO got him involved. Which really upsets me. But there is only so much I can do.

It's not your fault. I hope your boyfriend thinks this through and your family realise that it's your life and not theirs. I'd be upset too in your place.

I think..Be prepared for tears on the first day, and perhaps many after that. Separation anxiety is normal, as is a meltdown when you reappear. There are many ways to ease this.
