Both "The Secret" & "The Power" by Rhonda Byrne are great books ~ it teaches you about your inner being & how to manage your thoughts & feelings so that you can lead a happier & healthier life.
The teachings in the books help the reader to apply the principles to any/all areas of life like health-related issues, relationship issues, money issues, & self love.

Definitely worth reading as it focuses on having & living a positive focused life. :D

Sir Ken Robinson - The Element
It's realistic (that's rare in the self help industry today), inspiring, very inspiring and inspiring. And, it doesn't really deserve the label "self help".
This book made me believe in myself again.I recommend it to everyone.

Resurrection After Rape by Matt Atkinson - saved my life

Breaking Free by Carolyn Ainscough is a book I am pottering in and out of. Mainly for the CSA elements missing out of RAR

I have heard great things about the body remembers.
The courage to heal is apparently good too...though I have never wanted to use it.

I been going through a self improvement year and the following books have made the biggest impact on me (some of these I forgot the authors name to, but you can just google it):

King, Lover, Warrior Magician - Put me in touch with my inner self
4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss - Helped me re prioritize my life
Psychology of Achievement by Brian Tracy - Taught me how to maximize what I can get done in a day
Think and Grow Rich - Taught me the principle of locking on to one goal and giving it your all

Hope this helps!

Dr. Wayne Dyer's books have helped me. With depression, and not seeing the point in life.

This is a short book and more geared towards younger teenagers. It's a short biography. It made me feel a bit better about myself and I felt good knowing someone else was at least a bit like me.

RAE: My True Story of fear, anxiety and social phobia by Chelsea Rae Swiggett
