In "The Six Pillars of Self Esteem" a key concept is that anything we do can either raise or lower our self esteem. This can be learning a new skill, working a new job, meeting someone, or maybe something more subtle like not engaging in negative thought loops.
I was wondering, what does everyone on here do that makes them feel better about themselves? Like what activities grow your self esteem as opposed to stifle it?
Personally I've been learning to juggle (hasn't been going too well, i'm uncoordinated as heck). One thing I've noticed through practice is that when I feel and internalize the belief that "I can" things go better. I feel this is a core part of self esteem- the deep down belief that I can over other beliefs regarding action.
