Outer apperence doesn't match inside?

I am really upset at the moment because my outer apperence doesn't match how I see myself in my mind and who I want to be. I recently had professional photos taken but it broke my heart because the girl I saw in the pictures felt like someone else and was not how I see myself in my mind and not the person I want to be. It's really devastating for me and I was wondering if anyone else also feels their outside doesnt match their inside/ self image.
