Well...., this light box therapy indeed has done a marvelous job in regulating the SAD but I am also interested to know if the researchers have innovated the said treatment to be facilitated for any other kinds of complications as well?

I use lightbox therapy for my SAD from September-April.
I find it does wonders...definatly helps.

Yes,
Light therapymay be helpful in conditions other than seasonal affective disorder. Researchers have witnessed that it might be effective in conditions of obsessive-compulsive disorder, where individuals are facing complications. Symptoms of such individuals would necessarily illustrate rechecking door locks numerous times and repeatedly turning water taps off and on. It has also shown positive results in pregnancy related depression as in such cases other medications especially the antidepressants may cause harm to the fetuses and thus this form of treatment can be introduced with minimal side effects
