From the DSM-IV description, it looks like PPD'ers would be more typically aggressive and maybe even dangerous (if they happen to feel too cornered). Schizotypals would be generally hostile but not aggressive.

Yeah I know it looks like it to an "outsider", and I'm sure that's the idea behind the video. But that kind of "epiphany" moment is a symptom... The guy may feel blissful for a moment, but that's the kind of thing that a schizo brain can't handle. Next step is either worse paranoia than before or psychosis.

What the brain feeds on. Primary source of relief:

Code: Select all
Antisocial:    power
Avoidant:      acknowledgement
Borderline:    affection
Dependent:     security
Histrionic:    attention
Narcissistic:  admiration
Obssv-compsv:  control
Paranoid:      safety
Schizoid:      isolation
Schizotypal:   entertainment

Thoughts?

Avoidant is for me overlapping with social anxiety.
Borderline is hard to get, I think it's all about regulating emotions correctly.
Paranoid is for me more than just "safety" it's more a general suspicion in the world. But it's hard to find a term for it.
Schizotypal is for me mainly excentric.

But I would say, I agree pretty much with the rest! :D

I didn't really intend it to be descriptive. Just a facet. I do agree with what you're saying here.
