schizotype

I was wondering if anti-psychotics are used for schizotypal. I just came off of anti-psychotics and anti-depressants because they were making me high and manic and I was hearing voices outside of my head and hallucinating. What could this mean for a schizotype? I was i diagnosed schizophrenic in the past and then they gave me tons of drugs. I always have all the symptoms for schizotypal. So I'll probably be joining this group instead of the schizophrenic group unless the voices, hallucinations, or bizzare delusions come back. Im gonna see how I am without prescription drugs and other substances... something perhaps my uncle who developed severe schizophrenia should have tried considering he drank everyday and smoked pot everyday along with his high doses of medications which he never consistantly took except for the bi weekly shot..
