But there's your thing though... We don't and can't control this "essence", as you call it, we're just aware of it. That doesn't mean we change it and cause it to do bad $#%^ to people. We're not responsible for whatever happens.

Thanks for exaplaining. 'Ideas of reference' sounds a lot like something that a person who is either paranoid or has a low self esteem (or both) would ink. I used to think that way, and it was at a time when I believed everyone was against me, but I also had almost zero/nil self-esteem.

It's quite different from low self-esteem. We're talking of something different than simply thinking low of oneself. It's a disregarding of the 'self in the world', or the self as participant.
