I noticed a few books on Amazon that recommend strict diet plans for Schizophrenics. I'm wondering if anyone here has tried anything like that?

Diet is extremly important and when it is common for a schizophrenic to be having problems with basic things like hygiene, bathing brushing teeth etc it would be a sure thing that poor diet is also a factor in their lives.

Well, I wasn't thinking in terms of a good diet vs. a poor diet. There are books that claim certain nutrients or things like no starch intake would be beneficial. I'm skeptical, but I see a number of positive user comments on Amazon that make me wonder.
