Anhedonia and/or chronic boredom. Lack of interest.

Postby cmas » Sun Apr 01, 2012 1:21 am

How many people here suffer from anhedonia, chronic boredom, or lack of interest?

Has anyone successfully overcome this through medication?

I don't think I am depressed because I don't feel sad. And I've ruled out the possibility of anti-psychotics causing my anhedonia, because there was a time when I did not take medication and still felt this way.

hi cmas, i remember a similar phase a while back. for me it was a bit like reality adolescense as i realised i had to leave the old and accept the new. the worse adjustment is when the pot of gold of the new is in your face but no one else admits it, that's even more frustrating than the boredom. other than that it may be any number of reasons, it's always multiple reasons.
