Hi, I was just looking at a page with the models of sz. Environmental, Genetic, Biological Imbalance and some others, one I can think of that was not on the list is demon possession. I was just wondering have you accepted a cause for the development of your sz. In your life was there a single factor or many factors, more likely the latter, that you have accepted as responsible? Have you found some closure thanks to it. I have been wrestling with this for to long but I am starting to accept the trauma model/theory.
Please share.

I agree with you, brain, plus several triggers. The pagan things are symbolic of unconscious drives that are dysregulated. Inner fear projected on to the perceptual world. But if you notice that one night you sense something, then the next day you dont, or even several minutes you don't then its easy to see that its coming from your brain cause you can feel the movement and moment of why you were having those thoughts.

Probably many factors. Biological disposition and environmental factors, always the easiest answer to give.
Cultural factors is another, I believe. People around me do not understand what has, and continues to happen to me. Most people don't really know what "psychotic" means. The vacuum of ignorance is filled with cultural cliches or a religious explanation. The progression of paranoid schizophrenia varies from one person to another, at first I looked like a crazy asshole, it's easy to rack up a lot of people who dislike me, then that hive of people remain around me, not helping the situation. Maybe it's some sort of feedback loop, "Of course you're paranoid, everyone thinks you're crazy."
