Any thoughts on Geodone?

I've noticed my mom seems to feel better when she takes it, but she won't regularly take it because she says it constipates her. She is so much calmer though and less "tracking" when she takes it.

What are some of you taking that you like without massive side effects?

Ive taken risperdal, haldol, abilify, seroquel and latuda. I like latuda the best. Try different medicine imo. None of these made me constipated. Risperdal was okay it had like a orangish effect to my vision, sedate, calm, some weird phenomena. Haldol a little bit less sedation, but caused irritation and movement problems. Abilify made me blown with color perceptions and shakes. Seroquel gave me a stream of voices, and everything looked like a video screen. Latuda, could cause shakes but i dont take enough, feels more like "whitish" vision. Alot of them modulate the visual cortex thats why.

I took it for a while. It sucked at treating symptoms and caused major acid reflux. I'm taking Zyprexa now and I like it minus th weight gain I had at first.

I'm on the resperidone injection and I find the sedative effects(calming) good. I hate being forced on it and long term as I would also like to see what I am like without medication and the sleepy sadistic routine of getting poked every fortnight.
