Types of Hallucinations

I get very strange visual hallucinations.. Creatures, like trolls and aliens..I understand some people can't distinguish their hallucination from real life, like they would see a person and meet them but it was actually a hallucination?

I just wonder why some people's hallucination is of a regular person while I hallucinate these fantasy creatures...?

Sorry, I don't know. I think it's amazing that people get either of these hallucinations. Do you remember the first time you got them, and what might've triggered them?

What triggered these hallucinations was a movie on tv. I was watching ALien, (the movie with sigourney weaver). And I had been feeling strange all day, and while watching the movie, they turned a switch for a power source or something and i felt like a switch in my brain had been turned on, so I went to the hospital fearing for my safety and others, and I began to hallucinate while in the hospital bed. I blacked out many times and hallucinated these things...

sorry, i don't know the answer to your question. I don't have visuals to the degree that you do. I see shadows and bugs on the walls, objects changing shape and position, and such.

then i have these visions which i see when my eyes are closed. It's like there is a TV screen behind my eyelids.Sometimes they are of weird, ugly faces, gaping, bloody wounds, but most of the time, the visions are so strange and out-of-this-world, i can't even describe them

but Mostly, i hear voices and have strange feelings of my body, like i feel other people possessing/inhibiting me, or i feel all mixed up and distorted , or i can;t tell where my body stops and the world starts--like it all just flows together. And i have lots of delusions too.

I've had experiences with creatures and I doubt my subconscious had much of a role in it. These creatures were to unique. Not like anything I've every seen in a movie or imagined. Too much detail. Although I read a book after I witnessed these creatures. A Michael Gear book which had a creatures called fire dog's which reminded me a lot of what I saw. When I witnessed these creatures My uncle who was a severe schizophrenic saw the same ezact thing and described them to a tee. How do two schizophrenics see the same thing????

Thats a good question man. I dont know how two schizophrenics could hallucinate the same thing unless there was some kind of connection between the two schizoiphrenics or there is some reality to the hallucinations , like maybe their not hallucinations maybe theyr'e real. Like seeing into a different dimension.

thats what I believed at the time that we actually saw another dimension......and I didnt even know much about psychosis or schizophrenia at the time besides what I whitnessed with my uncle. It was after that I learned about psychosis. Then I Convinced myself it was because of the drugs.

yea id certainly love all these 'waking life' existentiallist bastards to experience schizophrenia... the ones that ask "are we dreaming right now?" and then stare off into space mesmerized by their higher thinking capabilities. whether its just hallucinations or delusions, i think most people, me at least, can tell there's something wrong just by the negative symptoms (i jumped from grandiosity to straight paranoia) that come along with the outrageous ideas. please! if this is 'waking up' then id like to go back to bed now

LOL, I'd love some of these religious people to experience schizophrenia and then try and say it can be healed by gods power or through faith so easily. They're like, yeah oh schizophrenia is no big deal its all in your head... Ok, maybe some mental problems can be cured by a lifestyle change and a belief in god, but sorry, not schizophrenia. If there is a way, god tell me now.

I mainly am afflicted by auditory hallcinations. However at times I see things, I used to often see spheres of light that would fly at me and stuff like that. I have seen people walking around before that just disappear as well (not very often).

Once I was outside and a plant started to talk to me, that was very strange.
