How can you prove you are not schizophrenic? I have done searches virtually all material is dealing with proving people are schizophrenic. I need to know how to prove you are not schizophrenic. In other words, a black and white test.
Thanks

well--- I can tell you from my experience --- it's pretty tough ---if not impossible...... They say I'm schizophrenic because I talk to ghosts- but so do these people on paranormal TV so what makes me any different is a tough call except from the fact I've been submitted into the legal system (and it's always someone else planting me there).... SO HOW I GET OUT OF THIS RUT - FRIENDS - I would like to know... because I am not a mental case -- I am a human being just like you and you and you reading this.

The descriptions on being schizophrenia could also be used to show a person is not suffering from schizophrenia. If you don't fit enough of the criteria, then you do not have schizophrenia. When it talks about delusion, culturally accepted beliefs are not considered delusions. I think enough people believe in the paranormal experiences and ghosts, but maybe having conversations with ghosts, aliens, and god (where god/ghosts/aliens talk back) is not generally accepted.
Anyway, I personally don't think it matters that people converse with the unseen. It just gets bad if a person can't focus or think clearly about the natural reality or what they personally want out of life.

I completely agree, I was asked by this butch psychiatrist, (lol) that if I hear voices. Actually she skipped that and just asked what I thought voices could be, probably assuming I hear voices. I could tell she was had anxiety so I said angels and she immediately froze up.
I'm actually having a thorough conversation with this with a friend. Interesting and definitely I think completely irrelevent. What goes on inside people's head is of their own concern unless they believe it isn't which in that case they are probably schizophrenic.
