Demon Hallucinations

Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting so I hope someone has a suggestion or advice. My boyfriend's aunt has recently started saying that she has been seeing demons. Being a psych student I automatically thought schizophrenia. However, seeing demons is still unusual for that illness. I don't believe it's sleep paralysis because she says she is moving and fully aware of the demons. It's a pretty scary thought so i'm reading out wherever I can. I'm not sure what this could be, so again if anyone has any opinions or advice it would be really appreciated.
