Could the man with schizophrenia work as a doctor(M.D.) in the US?
What kinds of jobs is allowed for people with schizophrenia in the US?

If you're stable and high functioning, there's really nothing you couldn't do. Just don't tell them about it. In the US, it's not a law that you have to tell them that you're Schizophrenic or that you have any disability at all.

Or do tell them about it. In the USA, disclosing a diagnosed mental health condition gets you certain protections under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). You'll want to research first, so you know exactly who, when, what, why, and how to tell.
