Zyprexa- emotionless and tired

I've been on zyprexa for awhile but it's making me a zombi. I want to switch to something else but so afraid of increased anxiety and insomnia. Any suggestions or experiences?

While I have not been on Zyprexa, I was on risperdal. The $#%^ was nasty. It made me gain weight in an insane way. I gained 100 pounds in four months. It also made me sleep 20 hours at a time. I got off of it, I'm now on Geodon. I sleep about ten hours a day, which is where it was without any medication, and all my stuff is in check.

Finding the right one is hard, and it is a time consuming process, but obviously Zyprexa isn't working. Tell your doctor that you would like to try something else. You may find something worse than Zyprexa, but you may find something better. All medication effects everyone differently.
