Im not schizophrenic, but ive had a psychotic episode..which was...interesting.
Anyways, I find myself constantly asking the big questions, and so far, I believe:
-Good and Evil do not exist, they are purely subjective.
-Life is meaningless, as we are born without a mission.
-Time does not exist, as it cannot be seen, heard, smelt, touched or tasted nor can we manipulate it in anyway.
-Reincarnation exists, as we are but particles and energy, and in the cycle of life our componants will be re-used by other forms of life, so we become a part of that life, just as a cow becomes part of my body.
-Reality 'may' be a dream..as we do not witness it first hand, but instead we witness our own perception of reality.
-There is no god.
-There was no beginning, there'll be no end. Remember, time doesnt exist...for me anyways..
-The letters on my keyboard are moving..strange..
-Most of all, I believe the teachings of buddha.
-I believe in fate, and believe free will is an illusion of thought.
-I believe that society is a mistake, and people should return to being innocent. Technology can only solve the problems that technology has created...
-I STRONGLY believe people should be free to take sacrements of their own choosing. We should be teaching peace, freedom, love, trust instead of exercising control, punishment, revenge and greed.
So theyre my way of thinking...Debunk me by all means, as I am searching for truth, not recognition. Please add anything you want to, say anything you want, but try to teach truths instead of ridicules.
peace.
Aha, Very nice. I think in almost the exact way that you do. lol, it's funny because I have also had a psychotic episode but do not have schizophrenia. hmmmmm, maybe briefly leaving the so called "reality" that we have made up in our own minds has made us search for a deeper purpose and in doing so we have come up with the same assumptions/beliefs. Strange. Ever since that experience I have found myself thinking very deeply. Even about the simplest of things. The whole reincarnation thing blew my mind, because this is something that I say in almost the exact words. The whole time not existing thing, I'm right there with you. We only ever do experience the now, so time is mind made, not reality. There is only ever this moment. The future is only a perception. When the "future"comes, it is still only this moment. If that makes sense. Past and futute moments only exist when you remeber or anticipate them, and you do so by thinking about them in the only moment there is: this one. Our entire lives unfold in the constant now.
"good and Evil do not exist, they are purely subjective." I believe the only one perpetrator of evil on the planet is human unconciousness. Meaning there is no person who is evil, but the unconciousness that commits these acts is the only one evil.
-The letters on my keyboard are moving..strange..
All things are vibrating energy fields in ceasless motion
Life is meaningless, as we are born without a mission
.
This was my conclusion for the longest time. I do not believe that there is an outer purpose, so to speak, but an inner. ummm, Inner purpose concerns Being and is primary. I think that our inner purpose is to become conscious fully. It is the essential part of the purpose of the whole, the universe and it's emerging intelligence.
I guess I'll add a few of my own..
-Due to the complete lack of self awareness, people cannot tell the difference between an event and their reaction to the event.
-True feminity is suppressed
-knowing yourself is to be rooted in being, instead of lost in your mind.
-All things are interwoven, where nothing exists by itself.
-Thinking fragments reality and cuts it up into conceptual bits and pieces.
- The body is just as vast as the universe
-Wisdom is ot knowledge. Faster computers or intellectual analysis is not what humanity needs. It is wisdom, which is the product of pure concsciousness.
-The mind made "me" is insatiable.
-"Mastery of life is the opposite from control" >ancient zen master
_ Dogmas- religious, political, scientific- arise out of the belief that thought can encapsulate reality or truth.=conceptual prisons.
-The mind is not always just searching for food for thoughtit is also looking for food for its identity, it's sense of self.
Okay one last thing because I know I becoming long winded here.
Please answer me this..
What is it in the human mind that loves to feel bad and calls it good?
Thanks for sharing Fried, very thought provoking.
