Why is Schizophrenia.........

Why is Schizophrenia categorized as psychotic disorder?
Except for paranoid schizophrenia most forms of schizophrenia dont have psychotic symptoms has there main issue or none at all (althrough it depends on your definitions of psychosis).

Actually schizophrenia in general has symptoms of hallucinations and dillusions. It doesn't have to be paranoid type.
