i think my mother is a psychopath. im not joking...im scared of her. shes a nutcase. she has this empty creepy look in her eyes. im so afraid of her. she told me she doesnt like children. she liked slapping me around when i was little....if i could go back home to israel i would.

Wow you are extremely offensive. Schizophrenics aren't psychopaths. Schizophrenia is a brain disorder with symptoms such has hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized though. Psychopaths are people without empathy. It's not even a clinical term sociopath is the correct term.

Maybe she isn't a straight up psychopath, maybe your mind is just amplifying something you noticed?
To shed a bit more light on the terms, psychopath is a person without empathy, sociopath is a person who grew up in an environment which caused them to consider antisocial behavior normal and then there is the Antisocial Personality Disorder which is a psychiatric diagnosis. And schizophrenia is of course something different.

@babybowrain : yeah schizophrenia is not the same as psychopath, so it seems like you're posting on the wrong forum, and if you have a concern regarding your mother, you can post on SOFF. good luck.
