wife screaming because of voices

my wife is on geodon - at 60 mg 2 times a day. for the last few weeks she is screaming (sometimes with a cloth in her mouth). when i ask her she says the voices are unbearable. sometimes she says that there is a constant whistling sound which is unbearable. wanted to know if someone went through similar experience.

My dad who has schizophrenia constantly hears a whistling sound and sometimes hears voices.

I have whisteling sound as well, its constant, but it has nothing to do with schizophrenia,it is more like tinnitus
