I listen to music only sporadically, and what kind of music I listen to changes almost just as much. I enjoy music very much though, and its one of the few things that can get me pretty emotional (probably one reason I'm not comfortable actively listening to it too often).
For sharing lyrics, here's one that basically sums up my life:

Black Sabbath - Loner
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dIaskgOd3Y

He's just a loner
He never says hello
A friend to no-one
He's got no place to go
He don't look happy
He looks through fertile eyes
He ain't got nothing
No-one to sympathise, alright now!

He hides himself away
His secrets not revealed
As life just passes by
He keeps himself concealed
A solitary man, an enigmatic child
A riddle never solved
A prisoner exiled, alright now!

I wonder if the loner cannot simulate
A lifeless lived alone plays devil's advocate, come on now!

Has he ever tried to be happy?
Reach out from inside
Someone on who he can depend
It's getting too late to recover
He won't stand a chance
And into his own hell he'll descend
Don't descend! (x4)

No understanding of things he already knows
He has to live his life and just let out and go, alright yeah!

Communication's an impossibility
He's his own best friend, but he's his own worst enemy
The secrets of his past life deep inside his head
I wonder if he'll be happy when he's dead, come on yeah!

I tend to stay away from music with lyrics. Anything with lyrics tends to be far less meaningful to me. I'm not sure I could manage to get through life without it. Oh and since this is my first post hi everyone.

Heh, my entire Youtube history is filled with only music...
This year has been rough for me, so songs with more...dour lyrics have been fitting. 'Oh Lord, is It Mine?' by Supertramp has is one of those, even though I'm not religious.

"I know that there's a reason why I need to be alone
You show me there's a silent place that I can call my own
Is it mine, Oh! Lord is it mine?

You know I get so weary from the battles in this life
And as many times it seems that you're the only hope in sight
Is it mine, Oh! Lord is it mine?

When everything's dark and nothing seems right,
There's nothing to win, and there's no need to fight

I never cease to wonder at the cruelty of this land
But it seems a time of sadness is a time to understand
Is it mine, Oh! Lord is it mine?"

Amanda Palmer 'In My Mind', Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young 'Carry On', and Carole King 'Too Late' to name a small few. For some reason I've been listening to ABBA while depressed  All time favorites though are 'Blue Moon', 'Today', and 'Yesterdays'.
"There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone."

Welcome IAmAPerson! Like you I also prefer music without lyrics. And I did like the tracks you shared, the whole album from Time's End we're all amazing. Thanks for sharing, you helped me discover new music and that is one of the things that really makes me happy.

Guess I'll share some music, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P4xRMJTXEA

I'm a bit too sleepy to check whether anyone's already posted this (Hell, I'm just lazy. Whatever!), but lately I've been listening to Shinedown's Second Chance an awful lot. It's particularly resonant with me because I went through a long period of self-sabotage with the subconscious aim of hurting my mother emotionally to try and force her to distance herself from me--the emotional reliance on her that had been ingrained at a very young age was the greatest threat I could perceive to my personal isolation. It took nearly severing all communication with her for me to move on and stop ruining my own chances in life. The song is about how some relationships are toxic even though the persons involved in them aren't necessarily bad people.
Tell my mother, tell my father
I've done the best I can
To make them realize this is my life
I hope they understand
I'm not angry, I'm just saying
Sometimes goodbye is a second chance.

Unbelievable by EMF.

♫You burden me with your questions
You'd have me tell no lies.
You're always askin' what it's all about,
Don't listen to my replies.
You say to me I don't talk enough,
But when I do I'm a fool.
These times I've spent, I've realized,
I'm gonna shoot through, and leave you.

The things, you say,
Your purple prose just gives you away.
The things, you say,
...You're unbelievable.

Oh!
What the f**k..?♫
You can chase perfection, but you can never catch it.
