Thanks, that saves me keeping an eye on this thread. The results are quite telling.

I took the test in Kiersey's book twice and came out INTJ both times. I recently took an on-line test, and to my horror, came out ISTJ. I don't know how that happened. I don't see myself in the ISTJ description at all. I think INTJ's are the master race and should take over the world. (But I could be wrong on that.)

I've always been struggling to decide what type I am: INTJ or INFJ? I've also been doubting about INTP in the past.

What about the P-thing? Although I can relate to both J and P, I consider myself more J. It's true that I always try to take up lots of information, but in the end, I always want to formulate a theory. This might be obvious if you've read my posts here. I'm always looking for answers. I'll look at something from all viewpoints (which is P), but in the end, I'll try to make a decision (which is definitely J). So, I consider myself J now.

What about the F-thing? Once more, I have to say SPD is a defense mechanism. Our emotions are blunted, so we are likely to associate ourselves with T rather than F. Be honest to yourself if you're reading this now: did you even consider being F or did you skip it right away? When I look to my true self behind the schizoid defenses, I come to the conclusion that I'm F because I'm extremely sensitive. On top of that, I can almost fully relate to the INFJ-description.

The schizoid life is all about moving back and forth between connecting and distancing. As a consequence, I feel like moving back and forth between INTJ and INFJ all the time. Therefore, I consider myself both and I can't choose between those two. I relate to both.

Correction, I'm an INFJ. Damned midnight tiredness.

Ah, thanks. This is fascinating.
Kind towards me; kind towards you.
Rude towards me; kind towards you.
Hatred for me; kindness for you.
Love for me; kindness for you.

Can't you see it's really just apathy?

In that case, it's not a contradiction at all.

INFJ here. Though it really isn't too surprising as one of the traits is 'repressing emotions'. The bit about being quiet and nice is spot on as well. Though I gather more out of this definition than the test here: http://personalitycafe.com/infj-article ... -infj.html

I found it terrifyingly accurate.

INFP 4w5
Have been in the MBTI stuff since last year (don't know how much time exactly).Don't remember the percentages exactly (took various tests) but i guess I = 100% N = 72% F = 68% P = 90% from what i remember from one of them.
Yeah it's strange a INFP to be a schizoid but i guess it's because of past trauma in social relations and my meditative processes (which eventually leads to a internal state of peace/neutrality thus no emotions)

I'm confused because the statistics will say INTJs are the second least common type, and the least common type for females, yet it seems like the majority of people on the Internet I encounter are INTJs. Does this mean the statistics are wrong and INTJs are actually very common, does it mean people are answering inaccurately and are mistyped as INTJs when they're actually something else, or does it mean INTJs are more Internet inclined than other types, so even though they're uncommon, they all congregate here?

This is INTJ Central.
