If you've got an official diagnosis off a psychiatrist you've got it made. You are in the "disabilty" club. All kinds of benefits await!
If your ever confronted by fascist officials who won't do what you want just play the "I'm disabled and your discriminating against me" card. It works almost every time!
I've been recieving higher-rate income support (U.k. only) ever since my diagnosis and I used to get free travel until they changed the rules. I also get free housing in a two bedroom penthouse flat despite me living alone  8) .

The higher rate of income support is £80 per week, which is more than enough for this schizoid hermit.
In fact about 4 months ago I ordered a Rolex Submariner. 8) :D

I deleted most of this for obvious reasons

I haven't got my Rolex yet. There is a year long waiting list for Submariners, so I expect to get mine by next January. :D

NietzscheWisdom* wrote:btw' now thath I think about it...it could very well be that your not infact "schizoid"_because according to my calculations and 'other(s)' studies it shows that only about 2% of the entire population could ever be actually diagnosed as it (its VERY rare)..(mostly men)

what you could be experiencing is just a momentary relapse brought about by environmental factors. You see...what us
schizoids live there whole life as (a hollow trivial_nothing existence)continual awareness an eternal reoccurence supressed by existential and nihilistic philosophy...

technically, 2% of the entire population is not concidered so "rare"

although, i'd have to say that 2% of the population isn't that many people. So in a way, it is pretty rare.

only one percent of the entire population is schizophrenic (im schizophrenic myself) I have only met about 2 schizophrenics in real life, even when i was in the hospitals, there was only one other schizophrenic there out of all the times i've been.

They say that schizophrenia is not really that rare,so obviously people dont concider 1% of the pop rare...however, i tend to disagree...it see,s fairly rare to me.

There is some debate over how common schizoid P.D. is.
As most schizoids avoid talking to people whenever possible it is actually unusual for one of us to present ourselves before a psychiatrist to be counted.
The disorder is probably more common than statistics would suggest but even if it is only 1% of the population who have this disorder it is still a lot of people.

Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something
