Anyone have a fear they are being videotaped or recorded?

Once when I was manic I tore up my room looking for hidden videocameras. I still stress thinking that people might be watching me through my window or something. I even put duct-tape over the webcam and microphone ontop of my Mac, just in case Google is doing a search for ME.

Anyone else feel like that?

Don't worry, they are still watching you.

Buy a camera detector or a frequency finder. And just forget about Google, they own you, period.

NO ONE is watching you. Ignore anyone that tells you differently. People could care less about what your doing right now. Your friends care, but they wouldnt spy on you and they are busy.

Believe me friends do spy. Family members do spy. Strangers do spy. That is my experience. You know why they do that? Because they are control freaks and because they don't have a life.

I'm sorry your paranoid like this. I sturggle with paranoia myself, and after many years, I've learned that its just not worth it to get wrapped up in paranoia. In the end, it won't save you from life, and being paranoid and indulging in it makes you sick(er).

Realize. Why are you SOO special that among 6 billion people someone would want to secretly record a schizoid and not (for example) an awesomely hot chick instead?

I know it's crazy and irrational but I also feel I am being watched or recorderd.

As a kid I used to think my parents have hidden camreas in my room and still do.
I also feel that the police also follow me and record me.
I know it seems crazy but I just feel like I am being watched. (maybe i have huge paranoia) [sorry for spelling]

I know someone whos daughter is in a constant psych hospital due to something along these lines. If she was let our she would think a book for instance would be recording her. So I'm pretty sure their is a name for it. I'm not afraid of it as I know it isn't realbut at the same time feel I am being watched. Maybe it's a clever don't get caught instinct from my brain.

Although I've never been videotaped or recorded, I found it is really scared. Maybe the only way to get rid of it is to get a camera detector or bug detector.

First you should stop using a mac because if you don't trust google why should you trust apple?

Then install a free as in freedom distribution of GNU/Linux.

And if you're from the USA then consider moving. Because rape (also known as unauthorized access) is bad but having a log of what you do is okay. Thousands of people get raped every day and they're not aware of it.
