I'm wondering if anyone else here feels a kind of morbid / weird curiosity when talking to people, especially those with mental illnesses. (Just in case - i'm not here to look at repliers like they're animals in a zoo or something - i really do want to know if anyone here feels the same way about interaction)
It's like there's something captivating in some people, especially the ones that "stand out", but in an unhealthy (at least I perceive it as unhealthy) way - its more of a detached """analysis""" of the person's behaviour and beliefs than genuine social interaction. I don't care as much about the person as i do about how they function.
This stuff is like you're just watching something interesting under a microscope and adding the things you find to your "how people work" notes. It's really the only thing that makes me interested in having a conversation too - i can have 8-9 hour long conversations just because i think there's something to be discovered.
It's quite weird and i've talked to a bunch of people at this point but no one really seems to get what im talking about... which is why i'm here now.
Feel free to ask questions / request clarification.
