Is this forum relatively active? Do people leave and come back often? Or do people just post something and then leave forever?

Well. this is a forum for schizoids. That said, it's more active than some of the other schizoid forums I've looked at.

Yes, people come and go. And people do post once and disappear, but that happens in all the forums here.

Responding to threads and making new ones is the best way to keep things going.

Member close to ten years.
I drop in to read now and then.
Only post if it's interesting.

For a Schizoid Personality Disorder forum, this is a VERY active forum. This is one of those niche things, of course. I wish the forum were more active. The more active, the more information. That usually helps.

Good. I’m having one of those phases where I’m actually interested in doing online socialization so it helps that this is relatively active. Who knows how long this will last though? I might just lose my interest tomorrow or next week and stop responding/posting. That’s pretty much what people here seem to do though (based on the feedback I’ve been given) so expected.

It is busy inasmuch as there is ever a new company of youth writing on it. Though I would lay odds the average age is never more than twenty something. It would be interesting to know why most of the men that go from here do. I have been on message boards for schizoids twelve years, and have seen many go. I might wonder more at their departing if I supposed them all to remain alone, and thus to have ordinate lives, as is falsely supposed by some. Nevertheless it is true that use of this message board has waned, and that that has been in reversed proportion to the number of men on the Internet, which has waxed. How are we to understand this?
