My therapist keeps insisting that I have schizophrenia. But I know the "voices" aren't real. So it's maladaptive daydreams.
The daydreams have made me indifferent to criticism. I don't care anymore what people think, good or bad. I don't care if they look up to me or down on me. It's just not that big of a deal anymore. I do whatever I want.
Every mental test I take says "schizoid: very high." So I think that's what I have instead.

Schizophrenics are usually aware that the voices aren't real. I believe it's the delusions and negative symptoms that become issues. The negative symptoms of Schizophrenia are basically Schizoid so you will score very high for it.

What's wrong with being schizophrenic? Would you feel better if the test results indicated that you were a Hasidic Jew?
Online tests are designed to give you the results you want. They're feel-good exercises disguised as diagnostic tools. If you take a test and don't want the results to point to schizophrenia, they won't. Any good therapist will conduct their own clandestine online test on you during your sessions. Even the opinion of a bad therapist is probably more accurate than an online test.
Do the people you are seeing all concur with the same diagnosis? If so, it might be time to learn how to accept it. This way, you can proceed with your therapy in a more effective way.

I go through similar cycles of believing and then not believing what I am going through. Medication is supposed to help but it also makes you question your sanity. Once the psychosis is gone, what is a Schizophrenic? Schizoid? At that point, therapy will change and so will who you relate to. You can then question your medication and want to stop just so you can be sure again. It's not healthy.

I have occasional very brief hallucinations and or voices. Like a second long. I know they aren't real. My psych has suggested mild schizophrenia. Who knows? They seem to only happen when I'm both stressed and tired at the same time. The worst I have ever had was fairly recent I barely slept due to extremely bad back pain, forgot to take my bipolar meds and drank too much caffeine. The worst that happened was I kept thinking I saw a cat streaking around though mine was asleep in plain sight and a ceiling fan appeared to be on when it wasn't. Both lasted a second and a half tops each time so if that's the worst then I can live with it.
