SPD and Toilet humor

How do you respond to toilet humor? Does it evoke laughter, disgust or just plain indifference?
Narcissists are anal character. They enjoy grotesque and insulting humor. What about schizoids? What type of sense of humor do you have?

I'm very meh about it. It always seemed pointless to me.

I am immature but slapsticks and cheap shots aren't my thing. In regards to my own sense of humor, I lean toward lame puns and dad humor. I also have a tendency with double entendres with people who I know can handle it.

It used to more repulse me, now I'm just like eh that's not really funny. I prefer dry humor and sarcasm. Saying something outrageous with no trace of emotion is more likely to seem funny to me. Guess I can relate to it.

Yes, I'm pretty basic when it comes to humour. I've just been giggling at the Wikipedia page on fart lighting. Oh dear.....
I like awful puns but also sarcasm and rudeness, the British comedy series Fawlty Towers is very good for this.
Double entendres are a great part of British humour, or they used to be.

I remember commenting on pf that I never understood why farts were inherently funny, and expressed my dismay that its not a modern degenerate trope but its in the works of Shakespeare, Chaucer and Aristophanes and goes back to Ancient World.

The joke is on people who don't get the joke.

Not on it's own...not particularly.

I love farce and surrealism the most. So, you can have, say, a fart as part of farce, or you can have a surrealist fart bit and I'll laugh at those.

I guess it depends on what you mean by toilet humor. Comedy roasts are always interesting, that's for sure. There are very talented comedians out there (many of whom have probably been on this site). Comedians tend to have some mental health issues. I really can't think of a comedian who is a bad one.
