So, I've been recently diagnosed with asperger's and have been looking at some information online about other people's experiences and came across the schizoid personality disorder. I looked at the symptoms and I have all of them. But I also have all the symptoms of asperger's syndrome. Is it possible to have both at the same time?

This topic just recently came up. Diagnostically, the answer is no. Once you are diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, you cannot be diagnosed Schizoid. However, you can still share the traits.

Men many times tell personality disorders wrong for bare personalities. All men have personalities, the wretched have personality disorders. It is not a body whereof we should seek to draw our yokes, for it betokens that a mans works are wielded by his heart. If most men can temper discord, men with personality disorders cannot, and pine notably; for they cannot wield themselves, and do things whereof they know sorrow will come.
