For example, they routinely encourage me to get angry. And then when I DO get angry, it escalates and blows up in my face. Then somehow, it's MY fault because I was "pissed off," so now I deserve to be lectured about NOT getting pissed off.
You can't win with people.
My trust is sacred. I don't see people as worthy of my time or consideration.
I know to stay away from these predators if I want to be happy.
I think most people think being stressed out, embroiled in constant drama, and overworked is just normal. They don't stop to look at the bigger picture, as in "what's my life purpose?" I have asked people in their 30s what their life purpose is and they say "I've never thought about that." Amazing.
Idiots.
There's no superiority complex with me. I just see the overwhelming majority of people as being misinformed. Here in America, they are brainwashed by corporate media, capitalistic culture and the capitalistic free market system. From early "schooling" to adulthood, they are taught to believe in this capitalistic system (without ever really questioning it or talking about a resource-based World economy or a resource-based economy of a given locale...***think The Zeitgeist Movement or The Venus Project, for example***).
So...they never REALLY see the system, itself, as so flawed that it needs to be completely replaced. It's always the old cliche "battle" of neoliberalism vs. conservativism. There's really no room for critical thinking here in America (or elsewhere). The system, itself, is always preserved.
Sure...there's a little mental effort in critical thinking. And going with the flow is easy. But, there's something to be said for putting in some effort towards the critical thinking department. You'll see a whole different World. You'll be enlightened.
Sure, there is misinformation, but that doesn't take into account each individual's capacity for intelligence. People have different potentials, and some just don't have the capacity for high intelligence or being open minded. Not trying to be harsh, just an observation.
That's where we disagree I see. We can agree to disagree on this one. Intelligent people have been conned into believing all kinds of crazy things over the years. When you put enough money (motivation) behind something, suddenly someone can be fairly easily manipulated. If you can provide entertainment to someone, you can pretty easily manipulate them through it. The mass media is reflective of this.
