Boredom

Postby UnfortunateEvents » Mon Jul 30, 2018 9:47 pm

Does anyone just feel chronically bored? The way I would describe myself right now is just straight apathy and boredom. Is this feeling pretty typical?

I'm never bored as long as I'm alone.

I am much less bored when I'm alone, but I do still experience it at times... it's been alot of the time while I'm at work though

I'm never truly "bored" it's more like I don't feel like doing much. It's a lack of motivation. A point comes along though when I get stir crazy for a change of scenery.

Very few things are enjoyable to me, apart from food, tv/video games and computers. Working, shopping, doing chores and interacting with people is extremely unpleasant, and generates a sense of boredom I find excruciating. I even feel bored on vacation to the point where I count the days until I can return home. Life seems pointless and unbearably dull at times, especially when the majority of my time is spent being forced to do things I don't enjoy (like working crappy jobs, dealing with controlling family, etc.).

Nah I'm good.

Masturbating alone sucks though :( mutual masturbation is better!

^Really? It grounds me way too much and I can't enjoy as easily if I were on my own.

Really the only thing I ever feel like doing is watching youtube and drinking or occasionally playing a few video games, but I get burnt out on those quickly. And I do relate to the unpleasant feeling when not alone and having to carry on a conversation with someone who just wants to drone on.

I'm leaning on the dominant side so occasionally the feeling of applying force is missing and it makes it less exciting.

Whiskey is great, but you should try rum.

I drank rum and coke for awhile and I do drink whiskey... right now I drink vodka with tonic water more than anything though
