Invention

Postby Amma » Tue Apr 03, 2018 9:51 pm

I’m conjuring up an invention. It’s a screen you wear on your head. First thing you do is relax all the places in your body that you do “holding” in. The screen will tell you how you’re doing. Then when you “ get it”, the screen will teach you what else you have to do to get your energy body back into your body. The screen will reward you somehow. So you will learn how to do it without the machine. Maybe it will take a long time to get it, I don’t know.

I think your invention might already exist.

There might be a therapist in your area who does either biofeedback or neurofeedback professionally. I did some neurofeedback treatments for a chronic pain problem I had and it helped quite a bit. It was fascinating to witness first hand how much of one's moment-to-moment experience (including physiological sensations) is contingent.

There's also biofeedback kits sold for home use. They usually include devices to measure heart rate variability and galvanic skin response (which are both closely related to brain activity and stress) along with software. I've never used one but I've heard good things. Unfortunately, a lot of the stuff for sale online looks like snake oil.
