I haven't had any close friends my most of my life. I've only had a few close friends (and these were back when I was much younger (high school age was the last time).
The funny thing is I tend to feel more isolated when I go out and encounter other people than when I am home alone. I guess it's because I encounter a very non-schizoid world when I go out. It's easy to feel more alienated when encountering others.
My whole mindset (politically) is of The Zeitgeist Movement variety. So...yeah, I'm constantly rejecting much of what I come across in daily life (any place I am). I feel very much ahead of my time and I'm waiting for others to catch up.
But, the Schizoid World is very unique. It's interesting...and it's hard to explain to non-Schizoids. It's cool to encounter other Schizoids on here, I must say.
