I have rhythms as well but they fluctuate. For instance there are times I get into a rhythm of falling asleep shortly after nightfall and waking before dawn. Then I am at my most energetic and productive early in the morning. But then that randomly shifts and I want to stay up all night, and I feel productive only when its dark out, and want to sleep all day.

Even though its my clone doesn't mean we are always on the same schedule. They might feel manic while I feel depressed, and vice versa.

As for nsfw texts, do you mean your clone would text you "I'm horny" or "Hey baby what are wearing?"

What would happen if your clone tried to seduce you? Would it be like masturbation or more like incest? Would you turn gay for your clone?

No. Just... no. I said "nsfw habits". I don't want to remember that someone is a sexual being at all if I'm not comfortable with the thought of being sexual with them (just the thought itself, not actual possibility). Because my mind has a will of its own like that. And I most absolutely vehemently definitely would not be comfortable with that thought with a clone of myself.

Anyway, my point was that with text messaging (I mean any type of text-based communication) you can talk to someone without knowing what they're doing and without forcing them to respond right away. And that changes everything. You can have contact and privacy at the same time.

And then we're back to the "cyber distance" thing: do people these days not understand that that's the magic of the internet? It seems to me like they usually choose to suffer the worst of both worlds instead. No meaningful contact and no privacy.

re: clones. Don't clones come out as babies? I have no idea how to operate babies.

Would we have the same consciousness? Probably not, but if it was a true clone it wouldn't really matter. Since time travel is theoretically possible, I would send us both back in time, and replace my infant self with the clone, murder my parents and see to it that my clone found its way into a proper, nurturing home. Then I (the current naps) could secretly mentor new baby naps and effectively live my life all over again, without making the same mistakes. Since time travel in itself precludes changing the fabric of reality, there would be three of us. Five if I forgot something from 2017 and went back to get it. I'm thinking now that I would make numerous trips back and forth with both baby naps each day, eventually increasing the number of naps until there were enough of me to form a new master race, while at the same time making subtle changes in the past to manipulate the world as it is now to suit our needs. No cell phones! (sorry zeno but you'd never miss them) No Donald Trump! No Wes Anderson movies! It would be freaking awesome!

Considering the fact that I concur with UK SPD's theory that we would all become left wing Nazis, I would like to apologize in advance for creating a totalitarian state where cats are your overlords and white chocolate is forbidden.

Portable internet devices in general, on the other hand, that's something I would miss. I mean, I guess I wouldn't, because you wouldn't have let them be invented either.

Oh if we're getting into clone armies then that's another story. It would probably spiral into a "council of Ricks" type of situation. But, naturally, I'd still be the Zenoest Zeno and wouldn't take part in it. Naturally.
