I have always largely lacked empathy, as long as I can remember. Though I'm not an aspie or autistic, I still found this test interesting.

I scored 23 out of 80.

I'm curious what others' results might be. It has 60 questions. Please take it and report what you get.

I just want to warn about these kinds of tests. I don't recommend anyone getting carried away with the results. You may want to retake the tests each week and see how that changes things.

The best rule of thumb is to follow your own intuition on these kinds of things. The tests are only a general gauge....but not indicative of the big picture.

I agree that the score you get will change a bit if you took it weekly. Heck i took it a while ago and got 20-22 in 2 tests at different times in the day (maybe the day after i forget) and i took it today just now and got a score of 13 and after a a bit of time again and got 16. I think the difference has to do with reading the depth of my emotions about the question. Should i go with slightly or very? I also can't go with my gut most of time on things. With the 16 score i just went with strongly agree or strongly disagree that time round with no slightly answers.

I was expecting a bit more. I do have a bit of cognitive empathy, but as I go through life on autopilot, I don't really use it.
