I'm not schizoid, visiting from another forum, but curious if there are many schizoid PD&S? Any famous ones come to mind?

Screenwriting would be the most likely profession to find schizoids. It's solitary work, for the most part, and you don't have to deal with many people outside of your agent.

To be a producer you have to be very social. And unless you're already established you have to do a lot of networking, for one thing.

Directors have to be the center of attention.

Why do you ask? Are you trying to drive Dazz to suicide?

I don't know of anyone famous, but I was in rehab with a guy who was a screenwriter. I don't think he had SPD, but we got along really well, so maybe he had some traits similar to mine. Both of us were insane alcoholics. He nearly cut off his fingers when he slammed the car door on them from being pissed of for being arrested for DUI. Miss that guy.

I was thinking about how creative the disorder's people seem to be, and at least you and Dazzle have an eye for interesting images and tell interesting stories. Seems like it would be a good match!

I don't think she's talking about our movie, you drunk mess.

You're producing something else Dulcet, right? Is it one of those orientation videos you have to watch when you start working at Burger King?

Nah its for retarded kids for her non-profit.

Also naps our film would have to be co-written by Dazz and naps, I see little point in making another persons story...although that said I have an idea for an adaption of Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar that would mix the semi-autobiographic fiction of that book with the semi-fictional (as I'd be writing it not caring about accuracy) non-fiction of her real life at the ages she was that she bases the book on. But I'll never even try to make it as it would cost too much anyway as I'd want it to look like America 1950's, and I don't wanna do a Trier-like thing ala Dogville.

Do you like Flannery O'Connor? I always wanted to adapt my favorite story The Life you Save May Be Your Own. It would be cheap to do, except for a little CGI at the end; I would have the storm confined to a small, single storm cloud that, in a long shot, would follow the old man down the road as he drove away. I would have to direct. You'll be in charge of making sure the donuts are fresh (no grape jelly donuts!!!) and the rest of Dulcet's budget can be used to make much needed repairs in my apartment.
