schizoid test score?

Postby DeerSkull » Sat Apr 08, 2017 9:39 pm

http://psymed.info/schizoid-personality-disorder-test

I have sort of a thing for taking online quizzes even though I know they have no actual application. But I thought it would be interesting to see how others scored on this. (Also, this test is a little iffy bc it doesn't tell you what the lowest possible and highest possible scores are :(. I tried to do the most 'schizoid' answers and got a 44, so that might be the top #.

Say your score and if your diagnosed? I got 32 but I'm not diagnosed.

There's something already weird about sharing that you tested out as having whatever personality disorder and sharing it on facebook, but the irony of it being SPD on top of it...yeah no thanks test.

39. Hmmm. This test is little more than a list of schizoid traits put into multiple choice question form. For a more thorough diagnostic tool, go here http://www.schizoids.info/tests.html

WARNING
This test is very annoying to take. There's nothing to click on. You have to tally up your answers and manually match them with the key at the bottom. I sacrificed ten minutes of my life a while back to take it. I don't remember my numerical score, but it translated to somewhere between moderately schizoid and very schizoid.

I think most of us here are past the point where these tests are necessary. Most online tests like this are cursory and inconclusive. For someone who is just beginning to wonder what may be wrong with them, perhaps they might be useful in pointing them towards an area which they can take into consideration while seeking professional help, but otherwise they're just mental masturbation. With ads. And links for facebook.

29. But yeah, it's missing an actual scale and a good description of the scores. All it says is "Your score indicates that you may have schizoid personality disorder". Whoop-de-doo, ambiguity at its finest.

I'll bite.

34. That's funny.

I enjoy close relationships - often. (with trusted friends, yes. Anyone else, no)
I feel at home with my family - never.
I prefer staying alone - most of the time.
I have sexual interest - no. that's cause of a hormonal imbalance, and I fear intimacy.
I take pleasure of being involved in social activities -(one on one with close trusted friends, a good part of the time. Otherwise, no) A little of the time.
I spend my free time socializing with friends - Good part of the time. Anyone else, never.
I have close relationship with my family members - strongly disagree.
I like when others praise me - some times I love it, but some times it makes me really uncomfortable. - Some times.
I feel upset when others criticize me - Most of the time.
I worry if my close ones have problems - no. I have no empathy.
I feel upset, if anyone tries to interfere with my privacy and feelings - yes, that much is true.

It says I have SPD and need to seek help....

Well, I didn't ask for advice.

Anyway, it is a pretty bad test. There are more thorough tests.

Such as? I'd take it if nothing else, for the entertainment. I like breaking tests if I can.

Yeah, the main test at the top is quite bad, I don't remember what I got, but nor am I bothered. However, on the test you posted I got 34, High Schizoid, what I score on most tests like these.
