Your reasons for wanting it made me doubtful. Hearing is the last sense to go, but if you're beheaded, how long did you think you can hear after that?

I want to be ripped apart and eaten by wild animals.

Id like to be slowly dipped in acid whilst a 300 lb trucker farts repeatedly in my face after a meal of pickled cabbage.

Is that weird?

The ever so untouchable, holy human life (although we kill everything left and right and each other for that matter) is like the basis of every constitution and religion. If someone freely ends their life, it feels like life isn't so holy and untouchable after all.
So basically it's: you're not allowed to kill yourself, so the status I want my life to have doesn't get a scratch.
Does that make sense to you guys?

What I find is that most people don't disapprove of suicide if it's because of a terminal illness or chronic pain. I watched a discussion on this on TV once and when mental illness was brought up, people were saying "Well in that case, you should see a doctor." As if mental illness can't be chronic. The very nature of it is chronic. So it's just ignorance. Once again.

Where I live, suicide laws aren't strictly enforced. You are usually court ordered to see a counselor. I was. What better way to deal with someone distraught enough to attempt suicide than arrest them. I don't remember. Maybe I was arrested. I don't remember hearing my rights read to me.

It's like it's one of those old archaic laws that everyone has forgotten about. Like it not being legal to cook chicken outdoors on Sundays. I doubt any politician would move to amend it, because that would make him or her sound callous, uncaring or  blasphemous.

In the case of religion, suicide is a sin because your death is supposed to be God's doing.

I want to die as my grandmother did. She lived into her 90's in relatively good health and sound mind. She still enjoyed pleasures in life and had some people who loved her. She had some interests and she still laughed a lot. One night, she went to bed (in her own home, own bed), and she never woke up. That's the death for me.
If not that, death coming to me as an accident while I'm doing something I love would be a second choice.
As if we have a choice...

Where I live, assisted-suicide under certain conditions is legal. It isn't an onerous process either, though you must be vetted well and two medical practitioners must certify.

I support compassionate suicide for the terminally ill. For the mentally ill, that is a harder question. Though I understand the personal choice, I'm not sure that the state should be involved in sanctioning that - so many areas for error.

Yet suffering is suffering and a grown person of sound mind should have the right to end their life in a humane dignified way. It is the assistance aspect that becomes hard for me where it isn't clear that the person will die soon anyway.

Isn't everything supposed to be God's doing?
So wouldn't that include my suicide? How do I know it doesn't include my suicide?

According to Christianity, you have free will.
Some people say suicide is against the sixth commandment but I think it's a biased interpretation. I don't think that the Bible says much about suicide.
