How would you describe your current situation in terms of social connection?
I often avoid social interaction, but not out of fear, but out of boredom. It's nauseating.

Are there people you see regularly (at work, for example)?
No.

Family?
Live with me but I don't interact with them.

Are there people you consider as friends?
No.

Do you normally go outside of your house if you don't need to?[b]
Not normally, but sometimes yes. Now I leave a little less because I no longer have my addiction to gambling.

[b]Do you wish to change any of that?

No.

Do you believe you can?
Yes, but I don't want to.

Are you trying to?
No.

How much does it bother you?
It doesn't.

I tended to have two responses to those - either answer every question 'the right way' (as though I was a solid citizen), or 'the wrong way' (as though I was psychopath). It seldom occurred to me to be honest.
I'm not like that now, of course.

My idea with those questions was mostly to make it clear what I was talking about and where I was coming from with my thought. But I've noticed that people here (me included) tend to take any list of things as if it's meant as a questionnaire, while elsewhere people usually just take it as guidelines or a starting point for a free-flowing response instead.

I wonder if this type of response or interpretation comes from a sort of shared trait (like a pattern of "looking for what is being asked of you") or if it's just a collective habit here that developed by chance.

People like to talk about themselves. Well, I do. It's easier and kind of fun to answer as if it were a questionnaire. Plus, answering, or addressing the points you made is easier if done in questionaireform. Sometimes, in trying to incorporate the answers into a paragraph or two, too much attention is paid to structure and grammar and as a result some of the subtleties and specifics can get lost.

I fully agree. It's just funny to me that apparently most people don't, but people here do (even though it's obvious that most people everywhere do like quizzes about themselves). I guess it has something to do with habits on what communication is supposed to be like.
