Someone is connecting to my wifi..... Well, your welcome, merry Christmas! My wish for you, is that your weightloss is working out for you. And i wish for, that you don't spy on me, and the porn sites i visit. But it is not akward for me, if it is not akward for you.

I could suggest some sites that would make it awkward.

That escalated quickly. You can't just write these two sentences right next to each other...

Or it was her desperate attempt to punish you.
But honestly, I hope it works out for you.

Finally someone sensible. Merry Christmas.
This is my third year where I don't have to fend off invitatons anymore.

I'm wondering if life has to be bad, so people can be good. Maybe thats our evolutionary task. We have to do the Christmas shenanigans to make everybody miserable ... as a bonding exercise.
To mince the great aunt and give her as a present might be step three. Imagine how they would bond over that.

Yeah, I can dress well for the weather but it doesn't help much when I need to get around on my bicycle when the roads and sidewalks are iced or snowbound, or like yesterday when the wind was howling from 20-40 miles per hour. Fortunately, being retired, I can hole up when I need to.

My life right now is about as good and simple as I ever remember it being and I am content with it.
Christmas was a quiet day for me with no family or people to deal with, just a couple of phone calls and that's it. I don't even need to pretend to do bonding anymore so that's a relief. I didn't say people couldn't be good, just "people not so much".

This is weird.
I'm in the public library this morning and there's a woman who comes here as often as I do, so that we're on nodding terms.
She speaks to me for the first time and remarks that she saw me with my sons.
Yes, it was one of my contact days.
Did you see them at Christmas?
No - but I'm quite content on my own.
What are you doing New Year?
Nothing.
I'm having friends round for drinks, do you want to join us?
Thank you for the invite, but I don't drink.
We walk away from each other.

I've just been asked out by a complete stranger!
Unless she's one of those odd do-gooders who can't stop being charitable to the less fortunate.

I've yet to work out if it's ruined my holiday or brightened it.
And saying that I don't drink at all was a Christmas lie (or in this case a New Year one).

That is one of the situations where I tend to be clueless. I've had times when I've been out with my 25 year old goddaughter and have had an encounter like that with a woman near my age and I don't think anything of it, that she's just being nice. Then my goddaughter will poke me and say, "She was hitting on you!" I had no idea. So I'd be happy with it because you must give off a good vibe.

I have to lie to my family every year, sometimes more than once if there's a death or something. Could you imagine if I told them about the vast majority of my life has been spent in solitude? LOL, not happening. My mother even makes stuff up to hush them. I even made up a bf to get out of Christmas Eve one year.

I would not mind attending this Christmas Eve party.

That blond girl is gorgeous. I researched her and found out its Julie Jewels. :)
