I did this test: http://www.piepalace.ca/blog/asperger-test-aq-test/

and I got a 23... which is quite amusing, since when I talked to a doctor the last time, a week ago or so, he wrote on a note something about a might-be high-functioning autism.

I'll do the EQ-test later.

AQ: 37 /50
EQ: 15

Mmm... odd... Maybe it's because I'm sleepy? I'm in no way autistic! At least I hope...? I did think I might have AS for a certain part of my life though before knowing what SPD was.

As for the EQ... I'm empathic! Or at least I think. Maybe it's because of my HPD mother and that now I might subcounsciously cynically think that people that suffer might have caused their own demise to get attention and might be acting a little? I don't want to think like that if that's the case!

I haven't been officially diagnosed, but there is no doubt in my mind that I have SPD and OCD and I've had other mental issues in the past.

My AQ: 34/50
My EQ: 32

AQ: 41
EQ: 28

The EQ test I don't think was terribly accurate. I have studied psychiatry and psychoanalysis extensively for the past three years, and so I have learned all the things you are supposed to say to someone to make it sound like you care without actually caring....and also how to read someone like a book. I've also read about some very basic conversational formats people seem to use(yet I still don't really "get" them).

I am also cursed with the ability to see all sides to every situation.... this doesn't necessarily mean I "feel" every aspect, but that I analyze every aspect.

I also *love* animals, and am extremely sensitive regarding them.... but I could care less about people.

Furthermore, I found that I frequently needed an option for "I don't spend enough time with people to know"

So, had I not had this foreknowledge, I'm not sure what my result would have been.

I have Asperger's and my result is:

AQ: 41
EQ: 14

Really bad :(

And about Aspie-quiz:
my Aspie score: 165 of 200
non Aspie score: 68 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

AQ: 32
EQ: 11 (a few months back I scored 8, so 11 is quite an improvement)

Not diagnosed with anything ever, the only time I saw a doc I was dismissed as "jolly normal" (with only a temporary post-breakup gloom)

AQ = 62 out of 100, or 41 out of 50.
EQ = 17
No diagnoses.

Funny, I had a light bulb moment when reading this in the EQ test: "In a conversation, I tend to focus on my own thoughts rather than on what my listener might be thinking."
I don't remember ever considering that as an option before. I'm normally entranced with my own thoughts and what I want to say as soon as the other person shuts up. :oops: I thought it was enough to consider what the other person was saying. I don't think I've thought before to wonder what they're thinking but not saying.
No diagnosis, lots of opinions, and a bunch of issues that I haven't quite figured out.

You can gather quite a bit from the mannerisms and emotion behind people's words. Quite often a lot more than from the words they're saying. So, you're saying, when somebody says one thing but is clearly means something else, you don't catch that, Plat? Maybe this is something I've learned through years of marriage. :?

For comparative purposes, the AsPDs took this tame test a while back, and scores were:

4, 45, 20, 22, 37, 23, 25, 29 & 11.

To be fair, we have no explanation for how you could legitimately get a 4, 45 was onebravegirl, and I'm quite certain 37 was cheating. The fact that a psychopath taking the test in earnest can get a perfectly healthy score speaks volumes to its legitimacy.

I got a 29.
I'm not crazy. My reality is just different from yours.
