I've taken those tests a couple of times before, a few years ago. My EQ varied then by several points, but was always in the 40s, way higher than the vast majority of scores by schizoids in this thread. Sounds like I'll have to downgrade to a personal-dx of Impure Schizoid Traits.

There was at least one question on the empathy test that I had no answer for. It was: 49. If I see a stranger in a group, I think that it is up to them to make an effort to join in. I had no idea how to answer this question. I do not know the social protocol for this situation, have never thought about it, and have no opinion on it.

To pull a line from Sheldon, "Big Bang Theory". I am not autistic, my mom had me tested. Although it was, and according to this test still is, a near miss. I can see and relate to patterns, but am not fixated on them. I do have a vivid imagination and love fiction as well as non-fiction. Nonfiction feeds the brain and fiction gives it a vacation. Perhaps PD and Asperger's Syndrome are related.
