Running away

Postby jradetzky » Wed Feb 07, 2007 9:16 pm

All of a sudden I just want to run away from everything.

Having spent 1.5 years in this university town in England has sucked too much. For some reason I cannot stand having "settled down" and developed some sort of social life that smells to normality. I puke. Let me out.

i was always uneasy with settling down too. i bought my first place a couple of years ago, and i keep getting itchy feet. i like my house, it's definitely home, but i'm not used to being in a place this long.

also, i'm in my final year of uni and i'm feeling generally settled. it's not what i'm used to at all. in some way i like it because i know where things are at, but it's weird too.

which uni town are you in, if you don't mind me asking?

Social life? Are you sure you are schizoid?

I've been in the university "environment" for 1,5 years too, and I have no social life besides from a childhood friend who tries to invite me to parties (which I turn down all the time of course).

In fact, I like this position. Study loans so I don't have to care about money, lots of free time and no people to bother me. It's ideal and it's gonna stay ideal for some more years until I have to become a wage-slave.

Actually it's two friends I see every weekend. That's about it. Never used to meet up so often with someone in my past life. However, it's starting to bore me.

I bet you're looking forward to that.

Society has only been preparing you for it your whole life. And you think you hate the world now, just you wait. Look on the bright side though, it will ONLY be like 40-50 years then you'll be dead. And when you're dying on your death bed you can look back and think to yourself what a wonderful fulfilling life you had spending all those years wasting it doing stupid pointless, meaningless #######4 work.

Aww, life is good, isn't it?

BTW, I'm sitting here at work right now wondering why I haven't already killed myself.
