I don't like the USA either. However, since that girl, the only one I've ever cared for is an American, may God bless the USA.

i don't hate americans individually - i have been to the states several times and always found it agreeable enough. the people are a bit over friendly, but so long as you're in a scenario where you can leave it's ok. i mean, if the friendliness is coming from a shop girl or something.

but as a nation, politically, america really can be monumentally thick. sorry, but there it is.

with regards to wars and other global #######4 being caused by people not caring - there's a journalist/commentator from around the 2nd world war called hannah arendt and one of her quotations seems apt:

the sad truth is that most evil is done by people who never make up their minds to be good or evil

i think she has a point.

I need one of those too.

Not a problem. I like the idea of a female padawan.

Darn it, darn it, darn it.

All of a sudden I've realised that I liked that girl because I like young girls and not adult women. Oh boy, I'm gonna be sick. I'm all messed up!

Ugh, I don't know. Ideally, it would be handy to have someone around so other people wouldn't worry about me and try to change me. I still get this crap about how I'm just a lonely, shy girly who just needs a man to show me love and then I will be perfect. I've seen all these so-called normal people and their lives, I don't see the sparkle-y perfection they're so eager for me to share in.

However, I really don't like the idea of being with someone because it might be convenient for me. It'd probably be a 50 year-old misanthrope, if anyone. Er.

Ireland is a piece of bollocks when it comes to meeting people anyway, even if I was interested. It's all pub-based, 'stare-at-someone-for-long-enough-and-maybe-they'll-marry-you' craziness.I used to love sitting in a pub & reading a book with a pint, but I really got sick of people assuming I was alone because I was after a husband. My favourite chat-up line, naturally, is "Smile, it might not happen". Dreamy.

There seems to be this desperation to not be alone that I find so creepy. Well, okay, I find it oppressing being in the same room as someone for more than five mintues, perhaps I'm not the best judge of creepiness. BUT, I'm expected to aspire to being like these people? I don't understand that.

Haha, he's one of my favourite writers. I don't know how I feel about that being 'wet dream' material. Although, it is a step up from 'pretentious twat', I suppose.
